Quality & Laboratory

At ELSAN A.Ş., quality is our top priority at every stage of production, which is carried out in strict compliance with national and international standards. All tests required by standards and requested by customers are performed with precision, and the issued Quality Certificate is delivered to the customer along with the products.

The ELSAN Metallurgy Laboratory holds the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 - Laboratory Approval Certificate for Testing Services from the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE). Accordingly, all metallic material tests are performed by competent and independent personnel in accordance with international standards and reported based on proficiency criteria.

The tests performed in our laboratory include:

Chemical Analysis

• Analysis of copper, zinc, lead, brass, and bronze using Optical Emission Spectrometers

• Determination of copper and lead content via wet chemical analysis

Mechanical Testing

• Tensile testing

• Rockwell and Brinell Hardness Tests

Microstructural Inspection

• Grain size measurement using a metallurgical microscope

• Grain distribution and phase analysis via imaging software

Other Tests

• Dezincification resistance testing

• Ammonia stress cracking and stress corrosion resistance tests

• Liquid penetrant inspections
