Quality & Laboratory

At ELSAN, our priority is quality at every stage of production carried out in accordance with national and international standards. All tests required by the standards and the customers are performed with precision and the prepared Quality Certificate is sent to the customer together with the products. 

ELSAN Metallurgy Laboratory holds a Test Laboratory Approval Certificate according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, and all metallic material tests are carried out by competent and independent personnel according to international standards and reported according to qualification criteria. 

Experiments performed in our laboratory;  

Chemical Analysis 

• Copper, zinc, lead, brass and bronze analyses with Optical Emission Spectrometers
• Determination of copper and lead content by wet analysis

  Mechanical Tests 

• Tensile test
• Rockwell and Brinell Hardness Tests

Microstructure Inspections 

• Grain size measurements by metal microscope
• Grain distribution and phase analysis with imaging software

Other Tests 

• Dezincification resistance test
• Stress crack and tensile corrosion resistance tests with Ammonia
• Liquid penetrant inspection
